1. Bynack More. 7 hrs walk. Nearest town  Aviemore (20 mins drive)

A walk into the heart of the Cairngorms with superb views. Pass by an ancient forest and the beautiful An Lochan Uaine (The Green Loch) then ascend the Munro of Bynack More.

2. Beinn Alligin. 6.5 hrs walk. Nearest town Inverness (90 mins drive)

The “mountain of beauty”. One of the Torridon Munro giants with stunning west coast views and amazing terrain, which includes the Horns of Alligin and the enormous gash of Eag Dhuibh.

3. Bruach na Frithe. 6 hrs walk. Nearest town Broadford, Isle of Skye (20 mins drive)

This is the most easily accessible of the Skye Munro hills and has perhaps the best viewpoint on this beautiful and stunning island.

4. Ben Wyvis. 5 hrs walk. Nearest town Inverness (40 mins drive)

An east coast Munro hill which is seen prominently from Inverness, with amazing 360° views topped by Scotland’s largest carpet of Alpine moss.

5. Beinn Sgritheall. 5 hrs walk. Nearest town Inverness (2 hrs drive)

A west coast Munro hill which Sir Hugh Munro himself described as having “the most beautiful view I have seen in Scotland”. A fairly steep walk (no climbing) leads to stunning views over the Isle of Skye.

6. Meall a’ Bhuachaille. 4 hrs walk. Nearest town Aviemore (20 mins drive)

Walk up a prominent Corbett hill in the Cairngorms. Past the beautiful An Lochan Uaine (The Green Loch), through ancient forests to the top for a stunning view of the area.

7. Meall Fuar-mhonaidh. 4 hrs walk. Nearest town Inverness (40 mins drive)

This is the highest and most prominent hill overlooking the famous Loch Ness. Unfortunately we can’t guarantee you’ll see the Loch Ness Monster, but it is a lovely walk through a forest then up to great views.

Who is it for?

A group of up to 7 people with reasonable fitness level. Accompanied children with the appropriate fitness and experience are welcome. Dogs on a lead welcome. Make sure you bring along everything in our kit list.
